I have long been quietly obsessed with these rings. This particular one features the image of the Olympian God Hermes (trade, travellers, sports, heraldry) skilfully carved into carnelian, oval bezel set in 18ct gold. Original vintage jewellery like this is a rare and exciting find, especially one so well cared for, and a piece that will long be treasured by whomever (an Hermés collector?) acquires this divine antique ring next.
It of course can be worn as traditionally intended as a ring (layered against a simple band, your Oura ring, or as a statement on its own) however I cannot forget how I saw a friend wearing a ring as a scarf toggle – genius.
