The last time I was fortunate to have one of these lion’s head rings it was set with diamonds – this 9ct gold one features rubies. While this vintage ring is not handmade, the detail of the lions head in itself is well cast(especially its facial features). This is a great statement piece of its own, and I would wear alternatively on a chain or as a scarf toggle.
