If there is one place from our recent trip away that I most definitely will visit again, it’s Istanbul. This was the last stop on a five week vacation (that was mostly in Europe) and a place I wish we had allocated more time. So visually arresting from its much varied architecture (highly recommend the picturesque guided evening cruise on the Bosphorus where the historical notes are reverently shared), Spice Market stalls, scenic water front pathways and parks, and of course the breathtaking sight of the imperial Blue Mosque or Sultanahmet Camii built in the early 17th century. The pretty multi-stone bracelet is a wearable snapshot of all the beauty of Istanbul.
